Black Opal Yay or Nay?

I was in dire need for a new foundation and spending $30 on Mac was definitely out of the question. So what's a girl to do? Take it to the internet! After searching for some dupe reviews many people said Black Opal was a good brand to try. The thing is I have never seen it in any of the stores in my area and ordering online was out of the question. I ended up driving about 30 minutes to get my hands on the stuff. :) I hate it when you go out of your way to purchase something specific and the shelf is clear! I mean absolutely clear. You could only image the look on my face...DISGUSTED! As I went to turn away something said look again and there it was one tube left. Could it be? Yes! and in the shade I wanted! How awesome is that?

So is it a Yay or Nay?

Clearly my camera phone sucks but you get the idea. :) I choose the foundation stick in Beautiful Bronze for about $10. I normally wear NC50 in Mac and the reviews I saw said this was spot on. I think its closer to the NW range and its a little too warm for my completion. I ended up mixing it with a lighter foundation I had and the color came out wonderful. It went on smooth and mixes well with other foundation brands. I would definitely buy again and might add it to my kit as a backup.

So I couldn't leave with out picking up this blush that was literally jumping out at me. The color is absolutely vibrant and screamed Beat Beaute! It's called Raspberry by Black Radiance. I never used there products before but for $4.99 I couldn't resist. This stuff is AH-MAZING! You know how sometimes when you purchase drug store brands it can come out "ashy" once applied on the skin? This is far from ashy. I tend to be a little heavy handed in application and when I applied it to my face I was boredline MiMi from the Drew Carey show, lol. A little definitely goes a long way with this product. It is a definite must and I'm extremely happy with it!
(Note to self buy one in every color!)
